Potato Chip and Pretzel Bars with Chocolate Ganache
 
Ingredients
  • 2 cups kettle potato chips
  • 2 cups pretzels
  • ½ cup flour
  • ⅓ granulated sugar
  • 10 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  2. In the bowl of a food processor, add potato chips and pretzels. Process until they form crumbs. Add in flour and sugar and pulse. Add butter and pulse until combined. Dump into prepared baking dish and press down evenly on the bottom of the dish. Bake for 10 minutes then let cool slightly.
  3. While the crust bakes, make the chocolate ganache. Heat cream in a small saucepan over medium heat. Heat until hot but not quite yet boiling. Remove from heat and pour over chocolate chips in a medium bowl. Let sit for a few minutes so chocolate chips can melt, then whisk together. Pour over warm potato chip and pretzel bars. Let cool, then cut and serve.
