Heat milk in a medium sauce pan over medium heat until hot but not scalded. Lower heat and add caramels, whisking until melted and well combined. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and sea salt. Serve warm or hot.
Notes
Number of caramels will vary slightly on exact size of caramels and how strong of a caramel taste you want. You can start with less and add more, to taste.
